You can ask O in your own words, or start with a command from the / menu. Each section below lists what O can do, an example to copy, and the command if there is one. Swap the bracketed parts for your own, and type @ to pick the exact person, company or Circle. For tips on phrasing, see How to ask O.

People and companies

Your relationships

How well you know someone is O’s reading of the evidence it has: shared employers, schools, skills, mutual connections, messages, emails, meetings, notes and how recent they are. It doesn’t measure trust, or whether someone would be willing to help.

Your messages, calendar, notes and documents

When O finds the right email or message, ask it to read the full text if you need the details.

Your network as a whole

Circles

O shows you any change to a Circle first, and makes it only when you confirm.

Research and news

O only searches the web when you ask it to.

Drafts, sending and reminders

Nothing goes out without you. Before O sends an email or a WhatsApp message, or books a meeting, it shows you exactly what will go out and waits for you to confirm. Booking a meeting doesn’t check whether people are free. Keeping an eye on a topic needs Follow-up updates turned on; see Proactive follow-ups.

Good to know

  • O works with what you’ve connected and added. If an account isn’t connected, or a profile doesn’t list something, O can’t see it.
  • A missing detail is unknown, not false. Profiles and company details can be out of date.
  • One answer can only list so many people. If you need more, split the question.
