# Discovery

> Find the right people in your network, or one introduction away, for what you are doing now.

Each prompt is ready to paste into Ask O. Swap the bracketed parts for your own, and mention people and companies with `@` so O finds them in your network.

## Find the right people in my network

**For:** Sales. **When:** You need a shortlist of people who fit a profile, from your own connections.

```text wrap theme={null}
Find people in my network with more than [3,000] LinkedIn connections whose role is about [relationship intelligence]: executives, managing directors, partners. Give me the top [20].
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Filters your own network on criteria LinkedIn does not expose, in seconds. **Time saved:** 15 to 25 min.

## Who in my network is relevant to what I am doing now

**For:** Everyone. **When:** A new project, a new market, a new problem.

```text wrap theme={null}
I'm working on [what]. Who in my network is most relevant to it, and why? Think expertise, position, and who they know. Give me the top [10] with a reason for each.
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Matches on context rather than job title, so the right person surfaces even when their headline does not say it. **Time saved:** 30 to 60 min.

## Who left, and where did they go

**For:** Investor, HR. **When:** Tracking talent out of a firm or company.

```text wrap theme={null}
Track senior movement in and out of @[company] over the last 18 months. Who left, where did they go, and which of them is now reachable through my network?
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Alumni movement across the public graph, intersected with your reach. **Time saved:** 1 to 2 h.

## Find candidates in my network for a role

**For:** Founder, HR. **When:** A role to fill before it goes to a recruiter.

```text wrap theme={null}
I'm hiring a [role]. Who in my network fits, or is one introduction away from someone who does? Give me the top [10] with why, and who could make the intro.
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Second-degree reach with a named connector for each candidate. **Time saved:** 2 h.

## Find design partners or first customers

**For:** Founder, Sales. **When:** A product that needs its first ten conversations.

```text wrap theme={null}
Who in my network runs or influences [function] at companies with [criteria]? I'm looking for design partners for [product]. Top [15], with the angle for each.
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Matches on role, company profile and how you know them. **Time saved:** 2 h.

## Investors in a place, at a stage

**For:** Founder. **When:** Raising locally, or travelling.

```text wrap theme={null}
Show me investors in [city] in my network who write [pre-seed / seed] cheques and are active this year. Top [10], with how I know them.
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Filters on activity, not just the word investor in a headline. **Time saved:** 1 h.

## Who do I know at this company

**For:** Everyone. **When:** The simplest question, asked often.

```text wrap theme={null}
Who do I know at @[company], and who there previously worked at @[other company]?
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Current and past, in one answer, with the overlap you asked for. **Time saved:** 10 min.

## Experts on a topic in a place

**For:** Everyone. **When:** You need someone who actually knows.

```text wrap theme={null}
Who are the most senior people in my network working on [topic] in [place]? Rank by depth of expertise and how well I know them.
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Depth from careers and output, not from keywords. **Time saved:** 45 min.

## The most seasoned people in my network

**For:** Everyone. **When:** You want the people who have done it more than once.

```text wrap theme={null}
Who are the most seasoned [entrepreneurs / operators] in my network: people who have built more than one company that ran for at least three years?
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Counts what people have actually done across their whole career. **Time saved:** 1 h.
