# Access

> Find the warm path to a person, a firm or a fund, and know which paths not to use.

Each prompt is ready to paste into Ask O. Swap the bracketed parts for your own, and mention people and companies with `@` so O finds them in your network.

## Who can actually introduce me to this investor

**For:** Founder. **When:** You're raising and need warm paths, not a list of funds.

```text wrap theme={null}
I'm raising [round] for [thesis]. Find the funds that have backed comparable companies in the last 24 months, then rank who in my network can make a genuine warm introduction to each, and who I should not use.
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Ranks paths by relationship strength and tells you which contacts are too stale or too far from the decision to use. **Time saved:** 2 to 4 h.

## Find your way into a fund

**For:** Founder, Investor. **When:** A specific fund you want to reach through people, not cold email.

```text wrap theme={null}
Which companies has @[fund] invested in over the past three years? Do a deep research and find people in my network who have been part of those companies.
```

</Frame>

**What O does that a search can't:** Turns a portfolio page into a list of people you already know who can vouch for you inside it. **Time saved:** 1.5 to 2.5 h.

## Who can reach the partners at this firm

**For:** Founder, Investor, Corp dev. **When:** You know the firm, you need the person and the path.

```text wrap theme={null}
Who can reach the partners at @[firm]? First from shared work and investment history alone, then through my own network. Rank the paths and tell me which not to use.
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Public graph first (alumni bridges, shared employers), your private network second, with a do-not-use list. **Time saved:** 1 to 2 h.

## Co-investor and LP access

**For:** Investor. **When:** Building a syndicate or a co-investment relationship.

```text wrap theme={null}
Who has co-invested alongside @[firm] in the last 36 months, and which of those funds is now raising or deploying in [sector]? Rank who in my network can make a genuine warm introduction to each, and who we should not use.
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Finds the funds, checks their current activity, then ranks your paths in. Flags when a match is name-similar rather than real. **Time saved:** 2 to 4 h.

## Who can introduce me to this person

**For:** Everyone. **When:** One name, no path.

```text wrap theme={null}
Who can introduce me to @[person]? Rank the paths by how well I know the connector and how well they know them, and tell me which one to use first.
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Two-sided relationship strength, not just a list of mutual connections. **Time saved:** 30 min.

## Who in my network can vouch for me at this company

**For:** Founder. **When:** You are pitching a company and want a reference they trust.

```text wrap theme={null}
I'm pitching @[company]. Who in my network has worked there, sold to them, or sits on their board, and who among them would vouch for me?
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Finds the people they already trust who also know you. **Time saved:** 1 h.

## Find a board member

**For:** Founder, Investor. **When:** A seat to fill and a profile in mind.

```text wrap theme={null}
Who in my network could sit on the board of [company], given we need [experience]? Rank by fit, independence and how well I know them.
```

**What O does that a search can't:** Screens your own network for a board profile, with independence checked. **Time saved:** 2 h.
