# Note Connections

> See how your notes connect to one another, to members, and to other items.

Follow a connection to explore related information, then open a note to understand the details.

## Where to find it

Open Notes → Note Connections.

## What you can do

* Choose a note or item on the map to see its details.
* Move around and zoom in to explore a group of related notes.
* Use available filters or search to focus on a note or relationship.

## How to use it

* Start with a note you recognize and follow the lines connecting it to other items.
* Open the underlying note to verify why two items are linked.
* Return to Notes when you want to edit a note or its properties.

  **Availability and privacy.** Some connections come from saved information; others are suggestions O has found. A line on the map does not prove that a statement is true or that two people know each other.
