# Open and manage a Circle

> Explore the members and updates in this Circle.

Overview gives you the summary, People lists its members, Map shows their connections, and Signals brings together available updates. Some Circles also show News and Activity.

## Where to find it

Select a circle card or its Open menu action.

## What you can do

* Choose Overview for the circle summary or People to browse its members.
* Choose Map to explore connections or Signals to catch up on available updates.
* Use Feed settings to choose the sections you see. If News and Activity tabs are shown, switch between them to browse updates.
* Open the circle menu to edit, export, delete, or start a chat where those actions are offered.
* Select a member to open their profile.

## How to use it

* Confirm you opened the intended Circle before changing who is in it.
* Use the owner controls for edits; contact the owner if a shared circle needs a change.
* Return to Circles to switch to another group.

  **Availability and privacy.** A Circle is your way of organizing members; it does not mean they have joined a group together. It stays private unless you share it or the page says it is shared.
