# Friends and shared networks

> See your friends in O and the networks you have chosen to share with each other.

You stay in control of which network information you share and with whom.

## Where to find it

Open Network → Friends at /network/friends or select shared-network controls from Network.

## What you can do

* See who you are connected with and which networks are being shared.
* Use the sharing switches to choose what you share with each friend.
* On the Network page, include a friend’s network when you want to explore the connections they have shared.
* Open or respond to a sharing invitation using the action shown.

## How to use it

* Review each sharing setting before changing it.
* Choose only the friends whose networks you intend to include in a view.
* Turn off or limit sharing when you no longer want to share that information with someone.

  **Availability and privacy.** Shared network access is governed by the sharing permissions shown. Shared data belongs to the person who provided it; do not redistribute it without permission.
