# Search history and plain-language search

> Return to a people or company search you have already tried.

Where a question field is available, describe what you are looking for in your own words; O can turn that into a search and show you the results.

## Where to find it

On Discovery, open Search history or enter a query in the natural-language search area when shown.

## What you can do

* Select a history entry to restore its criteria and results.
* Remove an individual history entry using its remove action.
* Enter a clear people- or company-search request in the natural-language field.

## How to use it

* Check how O has understood your question before running the search or using its results.
* Keep names, locations, and company criteria explicit.
* Close the history panel to return more space to results.

  **Availability and privacy.** Search history may include names and criteria you entered. Avoid searches containing sensitive personal details that you do not need.
